2. The second mechanism involves participants depositing 10 % ADA value of their potential reward into the treasury address to receive a 10% APY reward in eBTC for their entire holdings. Half of the ADA received will be utilized to facilitate the buy-back of eBTC, contributing to its value retention, which will then be burnt.

EcoBitcoin mining does not require traditional mining equipment. Instead, holders of EBTC tokens receive rewards for their commitment to the project. Rewards are distributed through periodic snapshots of EBTC holders' wallets.
EBTC rewards are distributed every 6 months through snapshots of EBTC holders' wallets. Initially, holders receive a 10% reward based on their holdings, which gradually decreases over time.
